Am Gr Ch ToMar's Captain Morgan
Captain has had a remarkable start to his show career. He gained his title during the pretigious Montgomery weekend, by winning Winners Dog and Best of Winners (from the 'Bred By' class) on the first day of the Circuit, at Morris and Essex Kennel Club. Then at Devon, he beat the USA's finest Specials to win Best of Breed and was shortlisted in a very strong Terrier Group. On the final day, with an entry of over 110 Miniature Schnauzers, Captain picked up an Award of Merit at the Montgomery County Speciality.
By the end of 2010 he had won 3 group ones and 2 group fours. Three of the group wins were won out of the Bred By Exhibitor classes. Captain also won this prestigious class at the Eukanuba 2010 championships. All this at just over a year old.
In 2011 Captain will be shown on a limited basis. To date he has picked up 8 Best of Breeds and 3 Group wins. He also finished his Grand Championship title in 3 weekends.
Way to go Captain!
Captain is now is Australia, where his children are making great strides in the ring.
